Managing Partner and Head of the Mineral Exploration and Development Practice. Aicholpon has over fifteen years of experience advising foreign investors, international donor organizations, research institutes, and local companies on a wide range of legal issues in the mining industry. She advises clients on attracting and protecting foreign investment, project financing, and mergers and acquisitions. Aicholpon represents businesses and actively participates in official working groups, commissions, and councils on reforming Kyrgyz Republic legislation in the areas of subsoil use, investment, and entrepreneurship. Since 2008, she has taught subsoil and other natural resource law at the American University of Central Asia. Since 2013, with the opening of the British Embassy in Bishkek, Aicholpon has served as Honorary Counselor to the British Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic.
